Nigel has been involved in Drag Racing since 1983 when he began crewing for Graham Barrs with his small
block Ford Pinto called Neon Star and later with his Ford Mustang in the early Pro Modified wars.
After Graham’s retirement from the sport Nigel started racing with a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle in Mod Et
and became divisional champion in the late 90’s. Always modifying the car he then ran in Street eliminator
and finally sold the car to buy the ex Pro Modified Nissan 300ZX. He ran this in Super Pro Et for three years.
Wanting to improve the looks and performance of the car, long term crew member Dale Edmunds
of DRE produced the stunning 1962 Corvette body to fit the modified chassis.
Steve Clark has a long motorsport history spanning 35 years including, working for Nicholson Maclaren in the 70’s and owning and running the
Frontline Video Top Fuel Dragster driven by Andy Craddock in the 80’s. He now runs his own company, Nimbus Motorsport supplying performance
products to the motorsport industry from Drag racing to La Mans cars.
