History:

Nigel purchased this car in the late 90’s and it was originally a Pro Modified Nissan 300ZX . Dale Edmunds of DRE then produced the spectacular 1962 Corvette body to fit the modified chassis of the Nissan. A 558ci alcohol injected Big Block Chevy powered the car to an 8.19 second quarter mile. Unfortunately that engine blew in a big way forcing a sabbatical for two years in this time Nigel crewed on John Spuffard’s Top fuel Funny Car. During this time Nigel built his new engine, a 555ci naturally aspirated Big Block Chevy. After lots of tinkering and chassis tuning it ran a 7.87 at 173mph now with Graham Barrs holding position of crew chief. With new rule changes in the class for 2008 Nigel is now building a new 523ci naturally aspirated engine. BE AFRAID!!!!!!!!
